As a Technical Sales Representative for Droneland Australia, your primary responsibility will be to promote, sell and support RPA products and services to potential customers. You will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding the customer base. Your tasks will include identifying prospects, building relationships, and closing sales deals. You will also provide product demonstrations, educate customers on the features and benefits of the machinery and attachments, and offer after-sales support. Additionally, you will develop strategies for lead generation and participate in industry trade shows and events to increase brand visibility.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential customers in industries such as agriculture and construction.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline by actively prospecting, networking, and generating leads.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for customers to showcase the features, benefits, and applications of RPA’s.
- Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate product recommendations to meet their specific needs.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate pricing, and close deals with customers.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to effectively position our RPA’s in the market.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop sales collateral, promotional materials, and campaigns.
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to network, generate leads, and represent the company.
- Provide post-sales support, including handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and coordinating with the technical team when required.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business or Engineering
- Minimum 3-years experience with RPA’s in the agricultural sector
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the agriculture and/or construction sector.
- Solid knowledge base of RPA’s.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and build relationships.
- Ability to deliver persuasive sales presentations and demonstrations.
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Result-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Strong IT, software and sales tracking tool skills to manage and report on sales activities.
- Willingness to travel to meet clients, attend trade shows, and industry events as required.
- A valid driver's license.
