The Role
- Support budgeting and forecasting of resource usage/requirements including cash flow and reconciliations, journal processing, and end of month and ad hoc reporting.
- Accounts and administrative duties including resource management, simple procurement/purchasing and general administration.
- Prioritising tasks and actions to meet required deadlines.
- Assisting with day to day administrative tasks under the direction of the Operations Officer
- Ensuring that all documentation is reviewed and correct prior to submission for approval and/or processing.
- Maintaining records in line with Defence policies and procedures
- Conducting internal financial related spot checks and audits to ensure compliance with mandatory business requirements.
- Internal and external stakeholder engagement.
- Generating and disseminating weekly and monthly reports and preparing presentations, spreadsheets and other similar documents.
- Provide advice and presentations to command and staff regarding financial, administrative and travel-related policies and procedures.
About our Team
The Unit Resource Manager (URM) is a member of the Operations and Logistics team within Headquarters Army School of Health. The main functions of the team are to coordinate activities, events, people and resources to achieve the unit’s mission, which is to train ADF health personnel. The team consists of four personnel: the Operations Officer, the Operations Warrant Officer, the Logistics Warrant Officer and the URM.
