A fantastic opportunity exists for an Accounts Officer to join our team to coordinate the financial affairs of the different entities within The Quinn Group.

This is a full-time onsite position at our Sutherland Office (Sydney, NSW)
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Preferred but not essential Tertiary qualifications in Accounting supported by a minimum of 3 years of practical experience in the profession;
- Eventual attainment of CA or CPA accreditation is encouraged but not essential;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Word and Excel;
- Basic knowledge of Access Handisoft Accounting an advantage;
- Basic knowledge of LEAP Accounting Software an advantage;
- Proficient in Xero and MYOB Accounting Software;
- Ability to work autonomously with minimum supervision and guidance as well as part of a team; and
- Ability to analyse issues and suggest effective and logical solutions.
Key responsibilities across a number of related entities:
- Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Payroll/PAYG/Payroll Tax and Superannuation
- Preparing and lodging monthly IAS and quarterly BAS Statements
- Trust Accounting and Compliance
- Bank and credit card reconciliation and end of month procedures
- Monthly invoicing
- Reconciliation of inter-company loans
- Budgeting, cash flow and provision of Financial Reports
- Management of Debtors and Creditors
- Manage annual insurance and membership renewals
- Other general office administration duties
