Job Purpose/Background:

The Greenbacker Marketing Team is looking for a full-time resource with design experience, who can help expand the Team's abilities to deliver on a wide variety of internal and external marketing requests.

A few projects that a new resource would take on immediately can include: updating marketing material, (print and web content); email marketing; internal communications; social media content coordination; and general project management.

This resource would also serve as a Marketing and Media Communications backup, for when other Team members (Senior Writer & Senior Analyst) are out of the office.

Key responsibilities:

  • Contributing to Greenbacker's overall marketing efforts by taking on typically lighter-lift projects, increasing Marketing Team's bandwidth and internal design capabilities, and providing ad hoc project management.
  • Contributing to Marketing content creation, including but not limited to data research, social media analytics and posts, and proofreading.
  • Maintain Marketing Team's internal website and SharePoint.
  • Help traffic Marketing projects through processes, including internal stakeholder review, proofreading, design, compliance, and finalization.

Experience and Traits:

  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, is required. (Particular proficiency with SharePoint is a plus.)
  • Some graphic design experience required. E.g., graphics for: marketing deliverables, social media posts, internal communications, etc.
  • Social media proficiency is required, including with some or all of LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Proficiency with workflow management system Asana is a plus.
  • Financial marketing experience is a plus.
  • Website design experience is a plus, with WordPress experience a particular plus.
  • Strong organization and ability to prioritize and track multiple projects with multiple stakeholders, while keeping in mind content tone and Compliance considerations.
  • Persistent, self-motivated, and able to work independently while regularly updating stakeholders and team as needed.
  • Ability to work with and communicate across departments.
  • Comfortable working remotely and in-office as part of a small team.
  • Interested in joining a fast-growing company.
