With the exception of our tech team, all employees work in our offices at Brookfield Place in the Financial District of New York City.

Team Overview:

The Marketing team of ~30 people focuses on direct response advertising to scale user generation and ROAS across several dedicated channels. Our marketing group is organized into the following groups:

  • Marketing Analytics
  • Channels
    • Podcasts
    • Newsletters
    • Influencers (YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, etc)
    • Platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Tiktok, Quora, etc.)
    • Programmatic Native and Display
  • Creative (Copywriting, Design, and Landing Page Development)

Position Overview:

As a graphic designer at Masterworks, you will be an important contributor to the marketing team. This is a role for a self-starter who has the hunger to take their vision and make it a reality. You will focus primarily on expressions of the brand identity, such as digital marketing campaigns, paid social, native, and email channels. Candidates should be curious about stretching their capabilities, have an obsessive attention to design detail, and a nuanced understanding of today's internet culture and trends.

Position and Responsibilities Overview:

  • Ability to make technical concepts easily understandable in a visual format.
  • Ability to spot and assimilate trend-forward digital design into your creations.
  • Strong knowledge of graphic design, typography, color, layout, and visual timing
  • Work with project managers, copywriting partners and other design contributors to ensure delivery of assets are on-brief and timely
  • Confidently present and explain design decisions and concepts
  • Brainstorm fresh ideas and iterate existing ideas to find signs of life
  • Contribute to visual research for ongoing brand evolution
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required to work and interface with coworkers, and management
  • Willingness to collaborate and communicate with all stakeholders
  • Ability to shift quickly between tasks to respond to high-priority assignments

Requirements or Skill Sets:

  • Bachelor's degree/related experience in graphic design, fine arts, marketing, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience working at a creative agency or B2B in-house design team
  • Comfort designer across a wide variety of mediums and media
  • Strong, working knowledge of Adobe Products - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Figma.
  • Strong digital portfolio demonstrating good use of typography, design, and photography
  • Experience creating assets for social media.
  • The ability to clearly communicate the reasoning behind design choices.
  • Revise projects/tasks as necessary based on the collaborative feedback process.

Measurements of Success After 90 Days:

  • Partner with the creative team to scale three new campaigns.

  • Must be eligible for full-time US work - no exceptions.
  • Must be able to work from our NY office
