Responsibilities
- Generate clean, engaging, end-to-end web design without a creative brief, and/or defined style guide
- Collaborate with Creative Director & Art Director to craft experiences that are not only visually appealing but effective at balancing user goals and business needs
- From time to time, you will be asked to create graphic design for Pitchbooks, as well as infographics/data visualization
- Learn about our client-base so you can best represent and interpret their needs
- Consider all aspects and challenges of responsive web design in order to support every combination of screen size
- Design with accessibility in mind
- Oversee the execution of the projects you designed after they are handed off to our in-house programming team
Qualifications
- 5+ years of UX/UI design experience
- Proficiency in designing intuitive site functionality, interaction, site architecture, user interfaces, and navigation
- Experience with graphic, print and infographic design
- Excellent time management skills
- Experience working closely with developers and an understanding of HTML 5, CSS
- Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
- AE and PremierPro experience a bonus but not required
- A portfolio demonstrating clean yet outside-the-box creative abilities
- Experience in financial services or B2B marketing is a huge plus
