You have, know, or do: Do: Some really kick-a$$ design Know: How to work within Google Studio (formerly DoubleClick), Sizmek, Celtra or similar platforms Have: An affinity for motion graphics Know: The basics of resizing, optimizing and exporting videos Have: Basic experience with After Effects Know: Some HTML, CSS and Javascript (GSAP a plus!)

In this role, you will:

Digital Production Designer

NYC-based, Mammoth, is seeking an experienced, creative, and passionate Digital Production Designer. This is a long term freelance position with the possibility to transition to full-time employment.

The ideal candidate will be a design generalist with a solid design foundation. The latter must be evident in your portfolio, and please have a link to work. You will collaborate with senior staff on campaigns from initial concept and design, to final execution on large and smaller digital campaigns. Mosts tasks revolve around creating great layouts/visuals/motion in Photoshop and/or After Effects.

The ideal candidate must come equipped with a great attitude, sharp attention to detail, and excellent communication skills alongside the ability to take direction on, and juggle multiple projects simultaneously. You occupy any downtime by reading up on the latest industry developments and techniques.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of relevant agency experience (internships are not applicable).
  • High proficiency in Photoshop.
  • Intermediate knowledge of After Effects is preferable.
  • Familiarity with Indesign and HTML is a plus.
  • Great typographic and layout skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organization.
  • Experience with entertainment clients and online advertising a plus.
  • Resourceful and naturally self-sufficient.
  • Knowledge of web technology, social media and industry trends.
  • Formal design training (relevant undergrad degree) and a killer portfolio.
