Position Summary:

Harmelin Media is looking for a talented and creative, freelance graphic designer to assist our branding team with various projects including social media posts, PowerPoint presentations, sponsorship ads and website updates. Our ideal candidate will have an expert knowledge in the use of design concepts as well as experience working in a team-oriented environment at an advertising agency or marketing firm.

The demands of this position will fluctuate on a weekly basis. On average, we anticipate approximately 10-20 hours per month depending on specific projects with occasional need for weekend work to support new business pitches. Hourly needs may increase depending on project needs and skillset of the candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Development of the agency's sponsorship ads
• Developing imagery for social posts, blogs, etc.
• Formatting high profile PowerPoint presentations (including new business presentations)
• Formatting white papers and published research
• Updates to the Harmelin website
• Other graphic design duties may be assigned as is deemed necessary to meet company needs

Keys to Success:

• 1-2 years of professional graphic design experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
• Knowledge of Adobe programs preferred (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), and/or comparable graphic design programs such as Procreate or Canva
• Knowledge of WordPress
• Design skills including visual composition, attention to detail, creativity, typography, etc.
• Samples of graphic design work will be required during the interview process
