About the Role

As a Senior Product Designer, you'll be a critical part of growing our small but mighty team! You will focus on building new products and experiences that help Lively's customers maximize their healthcare spending, while working closely with product managers, product marketers, engineers, support staff, and quality assurance. You'll be an integral part of establishing the culture of our design organization and provide mentorship for our junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Apply human-centered design methodologies and design cohesive experiences across several products within a product platform

• Work cross-functionally with engineering, product management, marketing, sales, data science, member support, and leadership to shape product

• Identify opportunities for conducting user research studies and put insights into action

• Distill complex problems into easy to understand user flows and wireframes

• Design user interfaces that are easy to understand and beautifully crafted

• Build interactive prototypes to communicate experience

• Facilitate collaborative design with partners in and out of the product design team

• Present your work to leadership as well as peers across the company

• Mentor and coach junior designers

Skills & Experience

You have:

• 5+ years of product design, or equivalent work related experience

• Experience building SaaS products for both native mobile and web platforms

• Proficiency with Figma (our primary tool) or Sketch

• A deep understanding of human-centered and service design methodologies, and product development

• Experience working with complex workflows across multiple product areas

• Extensive experience designing products from MVP to ideal state and developing experiment driven work

• Bonus points if you have experience building out and maintaining design systems

• Naturally curious about new business and technology opportunities and shaping future product direction
