We are looking for a bright, highly organized individual with strong team and project management skills, who will keep us on track with our many projects throughout the year.

With your help, we intend to build a powerhouse content studio that tailors to the creative needs of the company.

B-W Covid 19 Hiring Status

Bridgeport Worldwide will be conducting remote interviews and hiring during this time. This is a full time, on-site position in Bridgeport, Connecticut. It is expected to start partially remotely. Due to the current Covid 19 situation, we'll work closely with you as we understand every person has unique circumstances.

Who we are and what we do

Bridgeport Worldwide is a small (~20 person) but growing company in the high-end North American design and construction sector. We import, market, help specify and sell high-performance building supplies from all over the world. We have customers from all segments in a market that is both long-established and in the midst of serious transformation.

Our success is contingent on our ability to educate anyone in the design/build universe, including our direct customers, on how to properly specify and integrate our product offering into their projects. Our business works with designers and builders to help them create beautiful environments for their clients. For us, it is just as important that everything we do to communicate with them or with each other reflects this same desire for beauty.

The Creative Services team is here to do just that. We are responsible for maintaining the look-and-feel (and sound!) of our brand, and that of our manufacturers. We embody the company's spirit, and work closely with various internal and external teams to create assets for digital and brand campaigns, and efficient tools for our sales teams.

Who you are and why we need you

You are the pivot to our door! At the center of it all, you act as a reliable, polite, and positive point of contact between the Creative Services and the rest of the company, our vendors around the world, and any outside talent. You keep track of projects and people with an iron fist in a velvet glove. You are graced with flexibility, diplomacy, and a great dose of humour to balance your much needed obsessive compulsion to keep us all organized and on schedule.

What you 'll be doing - ie: Role and tasks

  • Stay in close communication with the creative team, providers, contractors and their respective project managers to manage deadlines and support all creative initiatives.
  • Managing creative requests from across the organization. Inputting those requests into the project management system and assigning out to appropriate designers on the Creative Services team-routine for the appropriate approvals and delivering assets on time.
  • Managing project budgets, working with the team to estimate scope and costs of new projects.
  • Pre-check contracted work and preps files for validation by Creative Director
  • Maintain organization of folder structures, proper naming schemes/hierarchy of all files, docs, assets, footage and finished content kept on shared area network storage for both inside and outside teams to access.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including light bookkeeping, maintaining calendar and other tracking software creating spreadsheets and collaborating closely with all departments and business units.
  • Act as a point of contact with designers and requesting partners to provide clarity on projects status and approvals.

Requirements - You 're a great fit if you have:

  • Experience managing creative teams and influencing creative types.
  • Knowledge of project management systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening.
  • Good command of numbers.
  • Great multi-tasking abilities. Must be able to manage creative requests and multiple projects and people simultaneously.
  • A good understanding of best practices for versioning control, naming conventions and organization of graphic files.
  • Are well-organized, punctual, and able to communicate clearly and work independently.
  • An understanding of marketing concepts and brand management.
  • Flexibility in competently managing competing priorities and changing expectations.
  • Awareness of the capabilities of the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Any Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator user experience.
  • Experience with Google Business Suite
  • An understanding of design trends, industry practices, and design-specific technologies

Experience managing international projects across multiple time zones is a plus!
