Responsibilities include:

• Conducting competitive and comparative research
• Leading affinity mapping sessions and design studios
• Developing scripts for usability tests and user interviews
• Creating sketches, wireframes and functional prototypes following user-centered design process
• Presenting validated design solutions to stakeholders
• Communicating designs to developers

Key skills:

• A strong understanding of user-centered design methodologies and principles
• Strong communication skills to present work and findings with the ability to explain rationale of design decisions
• Ability to identify solutions that meet both product objectives and user goals
• Discerning attention to detail with excellent critical thinking, logic and analytical skills
• Perpetually driven to sharpen and broaden skills through ongoing education and research

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-5 years' experience as practicing UX professional for software, website or mobile applications (this is not a visual design position)
• Ability to use UX software such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD to create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of design system theory and execution
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus
