MUST HAVE EMR EXPERIENCE ... and medical background experience
This role is responsible for:
Applicant will need to have prior background in EMR registration systems (vendor agnostic.) Primary functions include entering patient demographics to create a Medical Record as well as Financial Number, scanning documents into the EMR, appointment scheduling, check-in/out process, collecting insurance information , and helping patients navigate to the patient portal. They will also need to have knowledge of HIPAA guidelines since the primary focus of the role will be dealing with protected health information of health department patients. Attention to detail, self-motivated and able to work independently is also required. Basic knowledge and comfort with Office products e.g. Word and Excel also needed.
The schedule for this position is:
Mon - Thurs 6A-230P Sun 9A-530P Site 2
Tue - Fri 11A-730P Sat 9A-530P Site 3
This opportunity pays: $16.00
