Senior DevOps Engineer

We’re looking for a strong engineer to:

  • Own the AWS infrastructure of our 3 core properties, including Dockerized ECS and more standard EC2 based systems, while working with a small team
  • Liason with our development teams, information security personnel, and card printing facility personnel to satisfy their various requirements
  • Understand and act as a backup for the infrastructure of a small manufacturing facility

The Opportunity Wolfe’s infrastructure is hosted in AWS and is made up of several Dockerized and EC2 based services. We support multiple API layers, administration and partner portals, websites, native apps, and more. Additionally, we have a PCI certified card plastics printing facility located in Green Tree, PA. Duties

  • Handle the management and ongoing maintenance requirements of multiple AWS accounts along as part of a small team
  • Working with the property developers to migrate current EC2 workloads to ECS Fargate
  • Setting and implementing infrastructure standards
  • Documentation, CI/CD, and monitoring
  • On call rotation
  • You’ll also be acting as a backup for the card printing facility infrastructure. This infrastructure is a PCI Card Production compliant network, utilizing similar technologies to our AWS properties. o Please note: This position is NOT geared toward general IT/Help Desk Requirements
  • 3-5 years working with AWS, AWS Solutions Architect is a plus
  • 3 years working with Linux
  • 1 year docker experience TelosGifting Technology Stack This is what powers our various properties. You don’t need direct experience in everything, but you’ll be working next to all of these technologies:
  • AWS ECS, EC2, RDS
  • MySQL, Redis, Rabbit
  • Cloudflare
  • Sumologic
  • PHP, Symfony
  • Bitbucket Pipelines
  • Ansible, Terraform

Ideal Skillset

  • Proven ability to plan projects, work independently, and liaison with technical and non-technical personnel
  • Experience with containerization, application monitoring, and performance evaluation
  • Experience with any modern web development framework (Rail/Django/Symfony/etc) is a plus
  • Basic security certifications and PCI experience are a plus Compensation & Benefits/Perks
