Job Description

Essential Functions List of significant/essential duties, tasks and/or responsibilities required of this position.

Office machine experience/duties include fax and copy machine, telephone switchboard, computer and calculator.

Receiving purchase orders.

Input and processing Bills of Lading of inbound and outbound fluid loads.

Prepare production reports.

Daily reconciliation of incoming dairy products into facility.

Maintain office supplies and ordering when needed.

Assist with powder sales orders as needed.

Month-end balancing of internal and external dairy receipts.

Answering the telephone, filing, typing.

Greeting visitors.

Mail distribution.

Vacation and general relief of other clerical positions as needed.

Must notify supervisor in the event that standards are not met.

Assist with break and lunch relief as needed.

Responsible for all work being done in a timely fashion and done properly.

Follow all company Policies, such as but not limited to: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safe Quality Foods (SQF), and Safety Rules and procedures.

Must have the ability to get along with co-workers, management personnel, customers, vendors, and employees in accordance with the company policies and working rules while ensuring a harmonious and conducive work environment.

Maintain regular and reliable attendance at work.

Complete all paperwork neatly and correctly.

Other duties as assigned by management.

 

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  The Company will make reasonable accommodations that do not cause an undue hardship to the company if such accommodation enables individuals with disabilities to perform the essential function of the position.

Minimum two (2) years verifiable experience in administrative or accounting position.

Must be able to operate a personal computer and have knowledge of Windows 95/98, Microsoft Office, and 10-key by touch.

Must be able to type 45 words per minute.

Must have knowledge of Windows computerized accounting applications.

Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills.

Must be able to work in a quick and efficient manner.

 

Education and/or Experience

Proficient in verbal and written communication skills; Basic computation skills; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum two (2) years of related experience.

College level verbal and written communication skills.

Advanced computation skills required. Advanced math reasoning required.

Must be able to operate the equipment effectively after the appropriate break-in period.

Must have the ability to read and understand written and/or verbal instructions.
