Position Overview

The Software Engineering team at Extron is a diversely rich and global group of technical and industry talents who follow agile principles while developing solutions for our customers goals and problem statements by developing software and services across mobile, desktop and cloud platforms.

As part of the software engineering team, you will build cutting-edge software applications focused on the AV industry. The team is responsible for developing new user interfaces and controls that impact many projects and new products corporate wide. The team thrives on interactivity and collaboration in a diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Architect extendable solutions for an ever-growing industry of products.
• Design and develop new .Net/WPF based UI and Controls for desktop applications
• Integrate with FW designers to develop robust system solutions
• Develop solutions for configuring all types of DSP Audio sources
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to find intuitive systems.
• Maintain existing applications while developing innovative new solutions

Requirements

• BS/MS in Comp Sci or similar
• Expert in C# and Microsoft .NET platform – non-web.
• Experience in UI development using WPF and MVVM.
• Experience with debugging, performance profiling and optimization.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team using SCM and issue tracking tools
• Strong attention to detail, highly organized, computer literate
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment
• Experience with Audinate’s Dante API or Audio signal flows a plus
