Our team has successfully launched multiple (B2B / B2C) web site companies, and we are now launching a new innovative financial cannabis equity index platform. The platform serves the broader online investment community, with access to comprehensive financial stock data, investment research, tools, information services, rationalization services, on-demand product purchasing, mobile app serves and much more. The team leader is credited with establishing the world’s first equity index series for tracking marijuana stocks – www.marijuanaindex.com. Our new business site platform is a next generation platform serving the worldwide financial cannabis industry with proprietary and dynamic data, content, features, capabilities and service offerings. We are looking for a, talented, dynamic, knowledgeable and highly experienced professional to join our team, as the supporting web development leader. Our central office is in Lake Forest; however, it is not a requirement to work on location. Candidate may perform duties from remote locations and may be required to attend a weekly meetings in person and or via telephone. Position is currently part-time with flexible hours and flexible compensation terms. (Must be motivated, reliable responsive, take taking on initiative and ready to begin working in a list of immediate action-items) Bonus Opportunity -Working in the global cannabis industry, attending events, conferences, working with diverse cannabis companies, clients and partners. -Lucrative compensation opportunities to earn business equity ownership and stock ownership in other publicly listed cannabis companies. (long-term growth, commitment and performance based) -Working and reporting directly with the primary business owner. Note: This position will begin as a part-time (1099) contractor, with flexible work hours. Position will evolve into increased hours and development projects. Responsibilities Include: Managing all aspects of the website platform and operations, including design, development, testing, maintenance, improvements, integrations, administration, etc. Designing and implementing new features and functionality Google Analytics Coding mock-ups for both responsive and mobile websites Designing, testing, and implementing custom website pages and forms Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects Work with business owner and team members to create new product and service offerings Establishing, developing and implementing all web site processes and procedures Develop solutions to meet the specific needs of client requests. Directing mobile app build-out process through design, development and execution Working with third-party syndicate partners, component assessment, design, development, integration and account processes. Identify, test and fix all possible web site issues Skills and Qualifications Bonus Skill (not required) Experience and knowledge with the financial stock market industry, investing process and financial research web sites . 5 Years Minimum Experience with the following: Experience with various (B2B/B2C) websites including; Content aggregation portals, eCommerce, community portals, content syndication and marketing. Site monetization strategies, search engine optimization, digital advertising processes, email newsletters, social media and others. - Master word press operator / developer with all (system- wide functions) WordPress ACF / WordPress APIs - PHP back-end development - Designing and developing content aggregation and syndication process - API / XML Module development - BS CE/CS or related field preferred but not required - Software development - eCommerce system development, integration and operations - Database development, connection and manipulation - HTML / CSS / PHP HTML 5 / JavaScript / jQuery/ SQL Server / MySQL / C# / .NET 4.0 / MVC 3 - Application framework, developing wireframes - Remote Server administration - Ad server integration, functionality and operations - Social media integration / connectivity - Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications - Proficient with Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator) Experience and Education: Solid experience with identifying and working with external partners and teams Excellent communication and organizational skills Reliable, available, commitment, follow-through, organization, taking initiatives, team leading and goal oriented Detail-oriented with the ability to follow through with tasks Proven record of completing projects on-time and to specification Strong portfolio of accomplishments: web site developed, custom designs, functionalities, etc. New concept formulation, design and development: improving business operational performance. digital product and service offerings. Enhancing feature capabilities and functions. Driving and improving visitor traffic. Driving revenue through creative monetization development strategies.
