As a System Engineer, you will Have end-to-end support activity ownership within the Legal Systems third party Tools and Infrastructure space. Assist with the implementation, upgrades and improvements of various third-party applications including SharePoint and other legal systems or tools. Provide day-to-day operations support to legal tools. Troubleshoot, reproduce and solve challenging operational issues in a complex environment running fleets of windows server instances interacting with multiple Legal applications. Drive operational excellence. Build and automate systems and tools for internal use that enable you and your fellow engineers to operate safely at high speed and wide scale. Develop and maintain user and technical documentation, guidelines, or instructions as necessary. Work closely with our internal customers to help alleviate their problems and meet their demands. Requirements 2 years of experience in supporting SharePoint, MS SQL server and Windows-based third party applications 2 years of hands on experience with web technologies HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Programming experience with c. You should be proficient with Windows PowerShell. Highly motivated, passionate about people and have experience managing technical operations and support engineering. Experience with monitoring and management of patching requirements for the SharePoint Farm and Windows server. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience running and maintaining 24x7 production environments. Preferred Skills Have a proven record of driving improvement programs in the operations, engineering and support fields. Flexibility to participate in off-hours issue management meetings, and any other required support activities. Understanding of XMLSOAP, web services, and web application development.
