AVP, Web Development Manager

The AVP, Web Development Manager will be responsible for the strategy and execution of complex front-end web development efforts across the Bank. The ideal candidate will have experience leading digital initiatives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a proven track record of demonstrating exceptional results through best practices and cutting-edge technology. Additional responsibilities include: Provide day-to-day ownership of front-end web solutions across the enterprise, including Sitecore Execute on assigned projects, partnering closely on strategy and content with the IT, Marketing and business unit teams Pro-actively identify improvement opportunities, develop action plans, and work toward the highest quality and scalability of assigned platforms Develop, maintain and deliver on the strategic vision and roadmap for the evolution of front-end web solutions within Axos (near term and 5-year plan) Foster consultative and collaborative relationships with business unit leaders to provide proactive identification of opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness Continually expand personal and enterprise knowledge of the core suite of systems; research innovations for review and/or adoption by the Bank Build and maintain complete and current governance and project management documentation, and system architecture documentation Ensure the project management and development protocols and processes are adhered to by the team web developers managed by this role Key Skill Sets or Knowledge Requirements: Technical proficiencies: JavaScript, Content Management Systems (CMS), HTML5, CSS 3, Angular, jQuery, front-end frameworks including Bootstrap, and responsive design Knowledge on current and emerging web technologies Generally technically strong to be able to hire, train and mentor junior team members to become strong front end developers Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize work as needed Excellent attention to detail Strong organizational skills Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Deep knowledge of digital marketing best practices and technology trends Desired Career Experience & Education Requirements: 6 years of web development Content Management Systems (CMS) including Sitecore Developed websites end-to-end (Full-Stack) Implemented or maintained digital marketing tools including Google Analytics, Google Optimize, Tag Management (Tealium or Google Tag Manager) Worked in QA, Development, and Staging environments with strong change management processes Certified Scrum Master or equivalent experience Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or related field (preferably emphasis or advanced education in technology) Preferred: Experience working in a .NET environment
