Job Title MongoDB SQL Database Administrator Location Huntington Beach,CA or Ellicot City,MD Duration Fulltime Qualifications MongoDB SQL Database Administrator will maintain different database instances running in MS SQL Server, MongoDB and MySQL. The candidate should be able to set up back-uprecovery processes, handle capacity planning, run maintenance tasks (e.g. upgrades), diagnose issues, do configuration management, and set up replication and sharding. Responsibilities bull Responsible for installation, configuration, maintenance, monitoring and redundancy strategies of databases running in MySQL, SQL Server and MongoDB bull Experience in MongoDB is desired but not mandatory bull Monitor and fine tune query performance. Performance optimization in different database instances bull Define and implement backup strategies as per data retention requirements bull Diagnoses and resolve issues resulting from database instance bull Manage database security and conduct entitlement reviews on database instances bull Proactively monitor database systems ensuring availability and performance bull Work closely with application development team and act as DB advisor for MongoDB in terms of schema design and related performance bull Experience in configuring ETL process release process related to database.
