At AMGA we’re paving the way for medical groups and integrated systems of care to deliver the next level of high-performance health. We have an opening for a Web Designer/Developer, reporting to the Chief  Marketing and Communications Officer.

The primary responsibility of the Web Designer /Developer is to understand, determine and advance AMGA’s website needs, designing, building and testing aesthetic, functional  and user -friendly websites and other digital assets. The ideal candidate will be a smart self-starter with superior organizational and administrative skills; strong communications abilities, both verbal and written; and knowledge or interest in health care.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•  Leadership role as key contributor to the development of AMGA’s digital strategy and to plans for future website updates and improvements
• Responsibility for day-to-day maintenance and content updates for multiple company websites, micro sites and other web assets
• Understanding and appropriate utilization of development, staging and production environments as part of a managed release of web content
• Design, develop and modify graphics for use on website
• Experience with integrating external systems/databases with websites
• Work closely with Marketing to contribute ideas for new web experiences, and design and implement digital enhancements to support Marketing campaigns
•  Work closely with Information Technology to maintain security posture and data integrity of digital assets exposed on company websites
• Lead our efforts to monitor and improve SEO
• Monitor and analyze site performance, work with Marketing to analyze Google Analytics campaigns and goal performance, develop solutions to improve performance as necessary
• Implement outstanding user experience design, define our user journeys and improve conversions
• Must be able to multitask by working efficiently and effectively with various teams across the organization on several projects simultaneously to support conceptual designs with clear and concise digital assets while adhering to competing timelines
• Stay current and up-to-date with technology trends and look for ways to improve and push solutions forward
• Manage external vendors as needed
