Role Overview

IVM Studios Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and highly professional Photographer to join the team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for capturing high-quality images and producing compelling visual content for clients. The role involves photography for promotional campaigns, events, and corporate requirements, as well as editing and retouching photographs.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality photographs tailored to diverse client requirements

• Edit and retouch images to meet client specifications and standards

• Collaborate with clients and team members to achieve project objectives

• Organise and manage a comprehensive photo library

• Ensure proper maintenance and use of all photography equipment

• Consult with clients to understand and define photographic objectives

• Assess assignment requirements and select appropriate cameras, lenses, filters, and lighting

• Work both in-studio and on-location, including transporting and setting up equipment

• Measure light levels and determine correct exposure settings

• Adjust camera angles, aperture settings, and subject positioning to achieve desired composition

• Modify lighting and apply filters to enhance highlights and colours

• Use digital imaging techniques and creative darkroom methods to manipulate images

• Produce enlarged prints and manage mounting and framing processes as required

Minimum Experience

• At least 3 years of professional photography experience

Skills and Requirements

• Proven experience as a Photographer (minimum 3 years)

• Proficiency in professional photography equipment, lighting, and techniques

• Strong skills in photo editing software including Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Strong attention to detail and composition

• Current Working With Children Check (Employee)

• Valid Australian driver’s licence and access to a vehicle

• Diploma qualification (required)

• Work authorisation in Australia

Work Schedule

• 8-hour shifts

• Monday to Friday

• Overtime as required

• Weekend availability required
