About the Role
We are seeking a motivated ICT Support Engineer to join our team in North Adelaide. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality technical support across our organisation, ensuring our staff have the tools and assistance they need to work effectively. You will be the first point of contact for ICT issues, supporting a range of hardware, software, and networking systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 ICT support to staff across desktop, mobile, and server environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues via phone, email, and in person.
- Maintain ICT systems, applications, and user accounts, including Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
- Assist with system upgrades, security patches, and ICT infrastructure projects.
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or vendors when required.
- Maintain accurate ICT documentation and asset registers.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ professional experience in the same or a closely related role (ICT Support Engineer, ICT Support Officer, Helpdesk Engineer, or equivalent).
- Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
- Demonstrated experience supporting Windows-based environments.
- Practical experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and user account administration.
- Sound knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs).
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple support requests and prioritise effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
Desirable
- Experience supporting multi-site or mobile workforces.
- Exposure to cybersecurity practices, endpoint protection, and backup solutions.
- Relevant industry certifications.
- Experience working in healthcare environments.
