We are currently seeking a talented Computer Network & Systems Engineer to join our expanding team and contribute to our continued growth.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Planning, implementing, developing and maintaining computer networks for the company branches and offices.
2. Carry out in-house system testing and responsible for in-house system back-ups, installing and programming networking systems.
3. Designs, implements, and optimises network and system solutions to ensure consistent performance, stability, and security across the organization.
4. Monitoring Networking Systems including testing network devices, equipment and systems integration.
5. Takes responsibility for system configuration and operational preparedness, particularly within complex environments that involve multiple operating systems.
6. Delivers advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic expertise to resolve network failures and manage emergencies effectively.
7. Conducting proactive research to analyse security weaknesses and recommend appropriate strategies.
8. Adhering to infrastructure policies & processes and identifying potential risks within the IT environment.
9. Provide a structured approach to secure clients data service, removing the risk of customers information assets being compromised by a security threat associated with Software.
10. Ensure communications and data transfer in the server within the team members is secured.
11. Ensure to secure the connection between breathalysers and backend servers, which includes company asset information and critical personnel’s data.
12. Ensure the business follows Clients security protocols, adjust devices with their security policies and meet the client specific networking requirements and is also be responsible for the security agreements with clients.
13. Carry out in-house system testing. Be responsible for in-house system back-ups.
14. To maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles.
15. Reviews, assesses, and recommends enhancements to hardware, software, operating systems, and communication platforms to improve overall network operations.
16. Evaluates and interprets system design documents, architecture blueprints, and data models to support the development and integration of IT systems. Conducts detailed research and performance analysis of network infrastructure to verify that systems are operating at peak efficiency.
17. Develops and adapts network programming solutions that align with specific business requirements and operational goals.
18. Produces and maintains comprehensive technical documentation and operating procedures, including system inventory records, diagnostic logs, and maintenance instructions.
19. Monitors network traffic, utilisation, and system capacity to safeguard operational integrity, prevent bottlenecks, and support optimal system performance.
20. Responsible for the recommendation and analysis of new software version for the network devices.
Key Skills
· Network Design & Implementation – LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VLAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
· Routing & Switching – Strong knowledge of protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
· Network Security – Firewalls, IDS/IPS, access control, encryption, and threat management.
· Cloud & Virtualisation – AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, VMware, Hyper-V.
· Monitoring & Troubleshooting – Tools like Wireshark, SolarWinds, and Nagios.
Education & Qualifications: The appropriate candidates must possess at least Bachelor Degree
Experience: A minimum of three years of full-time relevant experience
Remuneration: The full-time position offers an annual salary of $90,000 plus superannuation
