As the business continues to grow and modernise its digital processes, we are seeking a skilled Systems Analyst to strengthen our IT and systems capability.

Location: 50 Arc Place, Larapinta QLD 4110

Position: Systems Analyst – Full-Time

Salary: $85,000 – $95,000 + Superannuation

About the Role

The Systems Analyst will be responsible for analysing, designing, and improving the business’s information systems to ensure they support operational efficiency and decision-making. The role involves working closely with management, production teams, and IT service providers to identify system requirements and implement effective technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analyse existing business systems, processes, and workflows to identify improvement opportunities.
2. Gather and document system requirements from stakeholders across different departments.
3. Design and recommend system enhancements or new system solutions to meet business needs.
4. Prepare functional specifications, process maps, and system documentation.
5. Liaise with software developers, vendors, and IT support providers during system implementation.
6. Support system testing, user acceptance testing, and deployment of new features or systems.
7. Monitor system performance and recommend upgrades or optimisations.
8. Ensure data integrity, security, and reliability across business systems.
9. Provide user support, guidance, and training when required.
10. Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and changes.

Skills & Experience

1. Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. One-two years of experience working as a Systems Analyst or in a similar systems-focused role.
3. Strong understanding of system analysis, design methodologies, and documentation standards.
4. Experience with ERP systems, databases, and business information systems is highly regarded.
5. Ability to translate business requirements into technical system solutions.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
8. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
