Full job description
This role is responsible for overseeing the overall financial function of the business and being able to manage and provide insight into all financial matters.
Key Responsibilities
·Analyse the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans, providing financial and taxation advice on business structures, plans and operations.
·Summarize current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other financial reports, interpret financial information to directors and management while recommending further courses of action.
·Provide assurance about the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and their compliance with statutory requirement and assist in formulating accounting policies.
·Manage payroll processing and tax compliance, and calculate leave entitlements, salary variances, update employee details.
·Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial transparency and accuracy, and reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
·Prepare quarterly BAS Statement, Submit monthly Payroll Tax statement. Prepare and submit quarterly Q-Leave lodgement. Post EOM journals.
·Monitor data integrity within accounting software and ERP systems, ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial information and maintain internal control systems.
Key Requirements
-Minimum a Bachelor Degree in Accounting or equivalent
-Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
-Excellent numerical, analytical, problem-solving, and IT skills
-High attention to detail and ability to work under pressur
-Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office and management software programs
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
