Construction Site Supervisor

Classification: ANZSCO ****** – Building Associate

Full time, $80K Annual Salary + Superannuation

The Steelfixing Group NSW is a Sydney based construction company specializing in multiple areas of expertise catering for all sectors of the construction industry. We provide services to our Partners and Clients across New South Wales. The Steelfixing Group NSW is expanding and looking for a skilled and fully qualified Construction Site Supervisor to join our team.

Construction Site Supervisor role requires to oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise and coordinate site activities, subcontractors, and tradespeople.
2. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
3. Ensure compliance with WHS (Work Health and Safety) regulations and company policies.
4. Interpret and implement construction plans, specifications, and drawings.
5. Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
6. Conduct site inspections and prepare progress reports.
7. Manage site resources, including materials, tools, and equipment.
8. Resolve on-site issues and provide practical solutions to maintain workflow.

Qualifications & Experience

1. Certificate IV or Diploma in Building and Construction or equivalent.
2. Minimum 1 year of experience in a site supervisory role within the construction industry.
3. Sound knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC) and Australian Standards.
4. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
5. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
6. Current White Card and valid driver’s license.

Desirable Attributes

1. Experience with residential and commercial construction projects.
2. Familiarity with project management software and digital site tools.
3. Ability to foster a positive and productive site culture.
