AXS Access Management Pty Ltd is a leading WA scaffolding firm specializing in Hire, Labour, Design, and Fabrication. We are seeking a Civil Engineer to take on a key role in Contract Administration and technical Estimating.

The Role

This position manages the commercial and technical aspects of our projects. You will be responsible for:

1. Preparing technical bids for supply, erection, and dismantle.
2. Performing drawing take-offs and estimating from structural/civil plans.
3. Letting and administering sub-contracts and project budgets.
4. Acting as a technical point of contact for clients, site managers, and engineers.
5. Conducting site visits to provide accurate, engineered access solutions.

Civil Engineering Requirements

1. A Degree in Civil Engineering is essential.
2. Ability to analyse structural loads to ensure scaffolding designs integrate safely with host structures.
3. Advanced ability to read and interpret complex Architectural, Structural, and Civil engineering drawings.
4. Knowledge of Australian Standards (AS/NZS) related to structural integrity and site safety.
5. Ability to produce professional engineering correspondence and clear project documentation.

General Requirements

1. Intermediate to advanced in MS office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Direct experience with AutoCAD and specialized Construction estimating software is an advantage
2. Highly organized with a meticulous eye for detail and technical accuracy. Proven ability to prioritize tasks and delivery high-quality outputs under strict tender and project deadlines
3. Good communication skills with ability to bridge the gap between various stakeholders

Training in stock control software, estimating and company procedure and policy will be provided.
