Project Manager


Overview:

We are looking for a Project Manager with experience in Remedial Construction to join the team! The successful candidate will be responsible for in relation to the oversight of commercial projects and optimal engineering solutions.

This position is a full-time ongoing position, based in Osborne Park, Western Australia 6017.

Main Tasks:

-Project Planning: Developing a comprehensive project plan, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements for site workers, architects, engineers and other stakeholders.

-Budgeting and Cost Management: Estimating project costs, preparing budgets, and monitoring expenditures throughout the project lifecycle.

-Resource Management: Identifying and allocating the necessary resources, such as labour, equipment, and materials, to ensure smooth project execution.

-Risk Management: Assessing potential risks and developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimise adverse impacts on projects.

-Communication and Stakeholder Management: Maintaining effective communication channels with clients, contractors, team members, and other stakeholders involved in the project.

-Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, change orders, and other relevant records.

-Health and Safety: Promoting and enforcing a safe working environment throughout projects in accordance with safety regulations and standards through regular safety inspections.

Required/Relevant Qualifications & Work Experience:

-Minimum of a relevant degree, and at least a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the industry.

Required/Relevant Skills & Knowledge:

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly with respect to contract negotiation and dispute resolution.

-Proficiency in budgeting, cost estimation, and financial management is necessary to ensure projects are delivered within allocated budgets and to monitor project financials throughout the lifecycle.

-A strong technical background in construction, building materials, and remedial techniques is beneficial. Familiarity with construction codes, regulations, and industry standards is important for ensuring compliance and delivering high-quality work.

-Strong organisational and time-management skills.

-Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management software.
