The Role
As an ICT Business Analyst, you will be the bridge between business objectives and technical solutions, playing a pivotal role in driving our clients’ success. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to identify, analyze and document ICT-related business requirements, pain points and growth objectives.
- Translate business needs into clear technical specifications, functional requirements and user stories to guide solution design and delivery.
- Conduct gap analysis on existing ICT systems and processes, proposing practical improvement strategies aligned with client goals and industry best practices.
- Facilitate effective communication between non-technical stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex concepts bidirectionally to ensure alignment.
- Support the end-to-end solution lifecycle, from requirement validation to implementation oversight, ensuring solutions meet business expectations and deliver measurable value.
- Gather and analyze performance data, user feedback and business metrics to assess solution effectiveness and recommend enhancements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation (e.g., requirement documents, process flowcharts, implementation guides) to support project execution and knowledge transfer.
- Stay updated on emerging ICT trends, technologies and education & training-related tech applications, integrating insights into solution design and client recommendations.
The Qualifications and Skills
- 3+ years of experience as an ICT Business Analyst (or similar), bridging business and technology in IT-focused settings
- Strong grasp of business analysis principles, methodologies, and agile software development lifecycle
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate technical/business concepts bidirectionally
- Sharp problem-solving abilities and attention to detail for complex business challenges
- Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Visio) and IT systems/technologies (networking, software, databases like MySQL/MariaDB/PostgreSQL); JavaScript/HTML/CSS fundamentals a plus
- Proactive mindset with task ownership and adaptability to changing business needs
