The Role

As an ICT Business Analyst, you will be the bridge between business objectives and technical solutions, playing a pivotal role in driving our clients’ success. Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to identify, analyze and document ICT-related business requirements, pain points and growth objectives.
2. Translate business needs into clear technical specifications, functional requirements and user stories to guide solution design and delivery.
3. Conduct gap analysis on existing ICT systems and processes, proposing practical improvement strategies aligned with client goals and industry best practices.
4. Facilitate effective communication between non-technical stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex concepts bidirectionally to ensure alignment.
5. Support the end-to-end solution lifecycle, from requirement validation to implementation oversight, ensuring solutions meet business expectations and deliver measurable value.
6. Gather and analyze performance data, user feedback and business metrics to assess solution effectiveness and recommend enhancements.
7. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation (e.g., requirement documents, process flowcharts, implementation guides) to support project execution and knowledge transfer.
8. Stay updated on emerging ICT trends, technologies and education & training-related tech applications, integrating insights into solution design and client recommendations.

The Qualifications and Skills

1. 3+ years of experience as an ICT Business Analyst (or similar), bridging business and technology in IT-focused settings
2. Strong grasp of business analysis principles, methodologies, and agile software development lifecycle
3. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
4. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate technical/business concepts bidirectionally
5. Sharp problem-solving abilities and attention to detail for complex business challenges
6. Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Visio) and IT systems/technologies (networking, software, databases like MySQL/MariaDB/PostgreSQL); JavaScript/HTML/CSS fundamentals a plus
7. Proactive mindset with task ownership and adaptability to changing business needs
