About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager, the Sales and Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing the organisation’s sales and marketing functions, with a focus on driving revenue growth, maximising brand visibility, and enhancing customer loyalty. This role plays a key part in developing and executing strategic initiatives that align with the organisation’s long-term goals.
Key Responsibilities:
•Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive occupancy and revenue.
•Manage digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, and SEO/SEM campaigns.
•Build partnerships with local businesses, event planners, and travel agents.
•Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate clients and group bookings.
•Analyse performance metrics and adjust strategies for maximum effectiveness.
•Coordinate promotional events and campaigns in line with brand identity.
•Collaborate with operations and guest services teams to ensure brand consistency.
About You
•Australian unlimited work rights (citizens or permanent residents)
•A diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field; or relevant work experience in lieu of a formal qualification.
•Additional qualifications in digital marketing, project management, or CRM systems are most beneficial.
•At least three years of proven work experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the hospitality or tourism industry.
•Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms, such as:
o Client acquisition techniques and sales processes;
o Social media platforms and digital campaign tools;
o Customer relationship management (CRM) software (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot);
o Branding principles and client retention strategies.
•Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
•Proactive, creative, and commercially minded.
•Strong organisational and project management skills.
•A team player with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
