We are a Melbourne-based professional wedding photography and videography company delivering high-quality, cinematic wedding films to clients across Victoria. Our work focuses on story-driven editing, consistent brand style, and professional post-production standards.
Due to ongoing business growth and increasing client demand, we are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Film and Video Editor to join our team on a full-time, long-term basis.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Edit professional wedding video projects including highlight films, full-length ceremony and reception videos
- Develop clear narrative structures and emotional storytelling aligned with client briefs
- Select, assemble, and sequence video footage and audio tracks
- Perform colour correction and basic colour grading to ensure visual consistency
- Edit and synchronise audio, including music and spoken content
- Apply revisions based on client and internal feedback
- Manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting agreed deadlines
- Maintain organised project files and adhere to company post-production workflows
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Film, Media, Screen Production, Digital Media, or a closely related field
- At least 1 year of relevant full-time professional experience as a Film or Video Editor
- Demonstrated experience editing wedding, event, documentary, or commercial video content
- Proficiency in professional editing software such as:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Final Cut Pro
- DaVinci Resolve
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and music-driven editing
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Competent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience in the wedding celebration industry or large-scale event planning would be an advantage.
A strong portfolio demonstrating professional editing experience is required.
