We are looking for a Civil Engineer to join our construction team! In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This is a full-time ongoing position, working 40 hours per week based in Osborne Park, WA.

Main Tasks:

  1. Design and Planning:
  2. Develop and review engineering designs, plans, and specifications for civil projects (roads, drainage, foundations, and structural works).
  3. Analyse soil and rock properties to determine foundation requirements and safe load capacities.
  4. Project Management:
  5. Organize and direct site activities, including Labour, materials, and equipment coordination.
  6. Establish detailed programs for project execution and monitor progress against timelines and budgets.
  7. Construction Oversight:
  8. Supervise construction methods and ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
  9. Inspect completed works and manage variations to designs as required.
  10. Cost Estimation & Control:
  11. Prepare detailed cost plans and estimates for projects.
  12. Monitor and report on project costs, negotiating variations where necessary.
  13. Compliance & Collaboration:
  14. Ensure compliance with Australian standards, codes, and environmental regulations.
  15. Liaise with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

About You

To be successful in this role you will possess the following attributes:

-Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering.

-Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in civil construction projects.

-Proficiency in engineering software and project management tools.

-Strong knowledge of Australian building codes and safety standards.

-Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

-Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

-Registration or licensing may be required.

The successful candidate will be offered an attractive remuneration package ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 plus superannuation, appropriate to the individual's capabilities and experience.
