Systems Analyst

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.Monitor and evaluate post-implementation performance of ICT systems to ensure solutions continue to meet business objectives and user needs.

2.Experience in large and complex projects and programmes.

3.Ability to manage multiple tasks with various deadlines with attention to detail.

4.Elicit and validate requirements from both technical and non-technical stakeholders and deliver quality outcomes.

5.Prepare and review solution specifications for system changes to facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders.

6.Communicate system changes to technical and non-technical stakeholders, tailoring your communication style to meet the customer’s needs.

7.Facilitate and actively participate in agile events such as backlog refinement, stand-ups, retrospective and sprint planning sessions.

8.Collaborate with stakeholders to investigate and analyse incidents to identify the root cause and ensure the efficient and timely implementation of a solution.

9.Resolve or escalate issues as required, suggesting alternative approaches.

10. Contribute to the development and implementation of improvements, and best practice in processes and procedures.

11. A proven ability to prepare high quality systems analysis documentation and oversee the development and implementation of ICT solutions.

12. Experience in investigating and resolving system incidents.

13. A proven ability to deliver large, concurrent deliverables, highlighting functional interdependencies and identifying gaps in existing functionality.

14. Clear, concise and articulate oral and written communication skills, with the ability to influence, persuade and negotiate.

15. Experience creating business process models using BPMN 2.0 and documenting detailed requirements as user stories. 8. Conduct user acceptance testing to ensure the solution has met requirements.

16. Experience with Azure DevOps.

17. Experience in data-driven analysis and development of reports and processes to support measurement and monitoring of performance KPIs.

18. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of risk management and quality improvement principles.

19. Familiarity with common accounting software database’s structures is advantage (XERO, MYOB, QuickBooks).

20. Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Power automates, Power BI.

21. Assist with stakeholder management, user support, and analysis, development, testing and production delivery coordination.

22. Demonstrated experience in a relevant ICT environment, along with experience in customer support.

23. The ability to perform business process mapping, requirements gathering, gap analysis, and data solution analysis.

24. Experience writing and maintaining technical documentation including functional specification, solution options, business cases, process flow, test plans and test cases.

25. Conduct feasibility studies and cost–benefit analysis to assess the viability of proposed system changes and enhancements.

26. Provide mentoring and guidance to junior analysts and project team members on best practices in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.

27. Ensure compliance of system solutions with organisational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, including data security and privacy obligations.

Key Skills · Investigating and analysing business processes, procedures, and ICT systems to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

· Working with users and stakeholders to elicit, validate, and document business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.

· Developing and reviewing solution options, system specifications, and feasibility studies to ensure alignment with business objectives.

· Using data and process modelling techniques (e.g., BPMN, UML) to create clear system specifications for developers and decision makers.

· Applying project management methodologies to support project planning, resource allocation, costing, and delivery coordination.

Education & Qualifications:

The appropriate candidates must possess at least bachelor’s degree.

Experience: A minimum of three years of full-time relevant experience.

Remuneration: The full-time position offers an annual salary of $90,000 plus superannuation.
