We are currently seeking an experienced Surveyor to join our team and provide critical survey support across a range of construction projects.

About the Role

Reporting to the Survey Manager, this is a hands-on role with leadership responsibility, working closely with construction teams to ensure survey deliverables are accurate, timely and compliant throughout the life of each project.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Carrying out field surveying activities including set-outs, as-builts, volume calculations and conformance checks
  2. Establishing and maintaining survey control networks
  3. Using GPS, total stations, GNSS and UAV technology
  4. Reviewing IFC drawings, models and specifications
  5. Processing survey data and producing reports, drawings and models
  6. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, standards and QA requirements
  7. Maintaining survey equipment, calibration and documentation
  8. Working collaboratively with project engineers, supervisors and clients
  9. Identifying and resolving survey-related issues on site
  10. Contributing to continuous improvement of survey systems and workflows

About You

You are a technically strong and reliable Surveyor who enjoys working in a construction environment and takes pride in accuracy, quality and teamwork.

You will bring:

  1. Degree or Diploma in Surveying or Spatial Science (or equivalent)
  2. 2–4 years’ experience in civil or construction projects
  3. Strong proficiency with total stations, GNSS and survey software
  4. Experience using 12d, Trimble Business Center, AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D
  5. Solid understanding of construction tolerances, methodologies and QA
  6. RePL and AROC (essential)
  7. White Card and current driver’s licence
  8. Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  9. Willingness to work FIFO/DIDO or on regional projects as required
  10. Strong communication and collaboration skills

UAV experience is desirable but not essential.
