QA Automation Engineer


We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in automation frameworks, scripting languages, and continuous integration tools, working closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to enhance our testing processes.

  2. Experience with test automation frameworks such Selenium, Cypress, Playwright
  3. Experience with CI/CD pipeline

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing.
  2. Design and implement test automation frameworks and tools to enhance efficiency.
  3. Collaborate with development teams to identify, report, and resolve defects.
  4. Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing as required.
  5. Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  6. Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on software quality.
  7. Work closely with DevOps and developers to ensure smooth releases and deployments.
  8. Research and adopt best practices in automation testing methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  2. 3+ years of experience in QA automation or software testing.
  3. Proficiency in automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
  4. Experience with programming languages like JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#.
  5. Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.
  6. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
  7. Experience with version control systems (Git).
  8. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  9. Experience with performance testing (JMeter, k6) is a plus.
  10. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  2. Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  3. Experience with security testing tools (Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP)....
  4. ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications.
