About the role

Established community pharmacy in Caulfield North seeks an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our professional team. This is a full-time permanent position offering excellent career development opportunities in a supportive and patient-focused environment.

Key responsibilities

1. Assist pharmacists with dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently
2. Manage pharmacy inventory including stock ordering, rotation and control
3. Provide exceptional customer service and health advice to patients
4. Process prescriptions through pharmacy software systems
5. Maintain compliance with PBS regulations and pharmacy standards
6. Support pharmacists with medication management services
7. Ensure pharmacy displays and stock are well maintained

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

1. Certificate III or IV in Community Pharmacy (or equivalent qualification)
2. Minimum 2 years recent experience as a Pharmacy Technician in community pharmacy
3. Strong knowledge of pharmacy dispensing procedures and regulations
4. Proficiency with pharmacy dispensing software (Fred Dispense, Minfos or similar)
5. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing
6. Strong communication and customer service skills
7. Ability to work effectively in a team environment
