About the Role:

We are seeking a highly talented International Sales Key Account Manager (KAM) to help drive our global sales program and manage Key Accounts. The International Sales KAM will generate quotations and comprehensive proposals based on technical requirements, project economics, and financial information acquired through a variety of channels. The International Sales KAM will interact with colleagues and customers in English and Spanish.

This role will utilize the CRM tools in order to provide the team a consistent and accurate view of global sales activity, by generating reports utilized for forecasting and product fulfillment purposes. The International Sales KAM works closely with the Sales VP, Sales Directors, Project Engineering, Logistics, Operations and Finance teams to ensure that FTC Solar is consistently exceeding customer expectations while ensuring that all FTC Solar sales maintain maximum positive contribution margin.

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate sales proposal process and generate quotes
2. Provide creative input to bid strategy
3. Track sales activities using ************** CRM system
4. Manage all CRM system reporting, improvements and modifications
5. Generate Sales reports & Presentations, and present to a wide variety of stake holders
6. Create and maintain sales models, ensuring positive contribution margin on all sales
7. Work closely with the Global Sales/Business Development Team on creative deal structuring and bid strategy
8. Work closely with Marketing & Product Management Team to provide input on new products
9. Ensure efficient communications and provide excellent customer satisfaction
10. Continually streamline, standardize and improve proposal templates, bankability binders, and client presentations
11. Form excellent working relationships with other FTC Solar departments, including Applications, Cost Accounting, Logistics, and Engineering to ensure on-time delivery and best in class quality of all FTC Solar products.
12. Periodically analyze orders and quotes to determine hit rates, top market segments, effectiveness of different value propositions, sources of leads, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. BS/BA in a business or technical field (MBA desired)
2. 10+ years of sales analysis, financial analysis, business development, and/or program management experience
3. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
4. Experience utilizing CRM tools, ************** is a plus
5. Strong financial modeling skills
6. Excellent ENGLISH written and oral communication skills
7. Demonstrated attention to detail in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
8. Passion for solar, always a plus
9. Solar experience a plus
