Wren Oil is currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team.

This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week. To be a successful candidate you would be able to demonstrate relevant experience and abilities including but not limited to the following:

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Prepare monthly financial statements for the export and production division, including profit and loss reporting, variance analysis, and commentary.
2. Develop and maintain production costing schedules, including cost of goods sold (COGS), margin analysis, and export-related cost allocations.
3. Manage reconciliations linked to international shipments, including vessel-based invoicing, export sales reconciliation, and shipping-related accruals.
4. Monitor and manage multi-currency accounts, foreign receivables, exchange-rate impacts, and settlement processes.
5. Prepare and update annual cash flow forecasts and contribute to annual budget preparation for export and production activities.
6. Assist with quarterly and year-end statutory reporting obligations.
7. Prepare and submit taxation and compliance reporting relevant to export operations, including excise documentation, export declarations, and PSO-related reporting.
8. Maintain accurate inventory-related financial data, production inputs, and costing records.
9. Review financial transactions, export operations, and capital expenditure to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with company policies.
10. Prepare accurate and timely management reports for senior management relating to export and production performance.
11. Ensure internal controls are adhered to and support continuous improvement of finance procedures relevant to the export division.
12. Provide financial support to logistics, production, and export teams as required.
13. Perform additional tasks as directed by the Administration Coordinator or Management.

About You:

1. The Ideal candidate will preferably have completed a bachelor's degree in accounting
2. Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar role.
3. Technical capabilities to prepare financial reports.
4. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Excel skills required.
5. Experience with accounting software package - MYOB Exo Business and MYOB Advanced
6. High level of numeracy, accountancy skills & attention to detail.
7. Self-motivated and focused & can work autonomously and in a team environment.
8. Be organised, planned, and have efficient time management skills.
