AI Special Advisor - Contract - 18511 About the Opportunity Our Government client is seeking Senior Special Advisors to support the development and implementation of an AI Training Framework under the oversight of the Chief Innovation and Technology Officer (CITO) branch.
This role will play a key part in enhancing organizational understanding of the ethical and responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI), promoting the safe and effective adoption of AI tools, and ensuring alignment with data governance and technology standards as outlined by relevant central agencies.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assess change impacts and organizational readiness
- Supporting long-term AI training by providing hands-on guidance to help new and existing employees understand AI policies, systems, and guidelines.
- Reviewing and recommending updates to AI training guidelines and risks for executive leadership through committee meetings, workshops, and one-on-one coaching on new AI tools and solutions.
- Proposing improvements to guidelines on AI-related security, legal, privacy, ethics, and compliance to ensure responsible use across operations.
- Researching and recommending policies to enhance AI training and support the department’s use of AI-powered digital solutions.
- Delivering expert-level training to build internal skills and strengthen the department’s ability to manage AI solutions.
- Reviewing documents like briefings, reports, and presentations to ensure consistency with departmental and government positions.
- Providing targeted training on specific AI tools used within the department (e.g., Copilot) to support adoption and integration into daily operations.
About You The successful candidate will have the following:
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence
- Experience with the Federal Public Service
- Bilingual in French and English
- Reliability Clearance
