Salary: $78,000 plus 12% Superannuation

Position: Full time - Permanent

Bridgeside Medical Centre is a fully accredited RACGP general practice in the Sydney CBD, delivering compassionate, high-quality care for individuals and families, with a strong focus on wellbeing and disease prevention. Skilled doctors provide comprehensive services across men’s, women’s and children’s health, preventive health, mental health, travel medicine, minor procedures, skin cancer checks, chronic disease management, wound care, and more. Onsite ECG and pathology are available.

Target Business Services is recruiting an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (Medical) to join Bridgeside Medical Centre’s multidisciplinary team. You’ll deliver contemporary primary care nursing, coordinate care plans with GPs, and uphold best-practice standards aligned with RACGP accreditation.

Qualifications and Experience:

· Bachelor of Nursing (or higher) and current AHPRA registration (RN).

· Experience in general practice or community/medical settings.

· Strong clinical judgement, assessment, care planning and wound management skills.

· Working knowledge of immunization standards, cold-chain, and IPC.

· Excellent communication and teamwork; able to work autonomously in a busy clinic.

· Commitment to quality care, safety, and continuous improvement.

In this role your main responsibilities include:

· Patient-centred assessments, triage and clinical care; ECGs, wound assessment/care; procedure assistance and skin check support.

· Vaccination administration across childhood and adult schedules; cold-chain compliance and vaccine fridge monitoring.

· Chronic disease management support (e.g., diabetes, cardiovascular, respiratory): GPMPs/TCAs, education, recalls/reminders.

· Infection prevention & control (IPC) and sterilization; room/equipment preparation; stock control and routine maintenance coordination.

· Accurate clinical documentation (notes, care plans, medical histories, procedure records) aligned with privacy and practice policies.

· Coordination with onsite pathology and external providers; referral follow-up to optimise outcomes.

· Emergency response and incident reporting; contribution to quality improvement and accreditation readiness.

· Support staff in medication administration, and support quality improvement processes

Desirable

· Current CPR; vaccination/cold-chain training.

· Familiarity with general practice software and recall systems.

· Strong clinical judgement, assessment, and care planning abilities.

· A genuine passion for helping individuals lead healthy and independent lives.
