- Lead airborne geophysical surveys, including passive EM, time-domain EM, magnetics, radiometrics, and gravity.
- Process, model, and interpret geophysical data to build high-resolution geological frameworks.
- Provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary exploration teams across global projects.
- Design and manage integrated geophysical programs tailored to specific geological settings and exploration goals.
- Conduct advanced inversion modelling using EM-specific software and custom workflows.
- Assess the geometry, depth, and composition of mineralised systems using combined datasets.
- Support regional exploration strategies with geological and geophysical syntheses.
- Drive innovation by developing new processing techniques and data integration methods.
- Mentor junior technical staff and foster best practices across project teams.
- Stay at the forefront of geophysical technology, particularly in airborne passive and Time Domain EM methods.
Required Expertise
This role requires a proven track record in advanced EM geophysics, particularly within the airborne exploration sector.
Technical Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience in natural field (passive) EM: survey design, acquisition, processing, and interpretation.
- Deep knowledge of airborne time-domain EM systems: calibration, inversion, and geological integration.
- Expertise with leading geophysical software platforms (e.g., Oasis Montaj, Geosoft, and TDEM inversion tools).
- Strong understanding of geological processes and mineral systems relevant to airborne exploration.
- Demonstrated ability to create custom models, workflows, and software solutions for data analysis.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Geophysics, Geology, Physics, or a related field.
- Postgraduate qualifications are strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3+ years of direct professional experience in airborne EM survey projects.
- Experience working in remote and international field environments.
- Commitment to HSE standards, regulatory compliance, and environmental responsibility.
Other Skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Comfortable working in cross-cultural, multidisciplinary teams.
