About my client:

Premier Tax & Book Keeping is a professional services firm of registered tax agents, accredited accountants, and licensed mortgage brokers. With extensive experience across all states and territories of Australia, they specialise in taxation, home loans, business registration, and accounting services. My client is currently seeking a proactive and experienced Office Manager to join their team who will play a key role in the efficient day-to-day operations of their office in Payneham.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contributing to the planning and review of office services, and setting priorities and service standards
  2. Allocating human resources, workspace, and equipment effectively
  3. Assigning tasks and monitoring performance of administrative and support staff
  4. Managing office records and financial accounts in an organised and compliant manner
  5. Liaising with accountants, mortgage brokers, and clients to coordinate business operations and resolve issues
  6. Ensuring maintenance and availability of office equipment and supplies
  7. Monitoring and enforcing compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
  8. Ensuring office operations comply with relevant government legislation, policies, and procedures
  9. Coordinating personnel functions including hiring, performance reviews, payroll processing, staff training, and supervision

About You:

  1. Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field
  2. Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar office management or practice manager role
  3. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage staff, resources, and office functions effectively
  4. Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and office/accounting software
  6. High level of professionalism and a commitment to service excellence
