Position: Full-Time Civil Engineering Technician
Salary: AUD 77,000 – 80,000 + Superannuation

To support our continued business growth and project expansion, we are currently seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Technician to join our team on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
-Assist in the preparation and review of detailed engineering plans, drawings, and documentation for civil construction and infrastructure projects.
-Collect, analyze, and compile field and laboratory data related to soil, concrete, and construction materials.
-Conduct site inspections to gather measurements, observe construction progress, and ensure compliance with engineering specifications and safety standards.
-Use CAD and engineering software (such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D) to assist civil engineers in the design and modification of infrastructure systems.
-Estimate material quantities and costs, and assist in project scheduling and reporting.
-Liaise with civil engineers, architects, and project stakeholders to ensure accurate implementation of design plans.
-Monitor and report on construction activities and ensure adherence to technical drawings, standards, and industry regulations.
-Maintain accurate technical records, project documentation, and drawing libraries.
Qualifications and Experience:
-A Diploma or higher qualification in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
-Minimum 3 years of experience in a civil engineering or drafting/technical support role, preferably within the construction or land development sectors.
-Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and technical drawing tools.
-Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
