We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer to join our growing team and contribute to cutting-edge solutions for clients ranging from finance to e-commerce.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate closely with project managers, UI/UX designers, and frontend developers to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
2. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, system design, coding, testing, deployment, and documentation.
3. Develop robust backend services using Spring and Hibernate frameworks, with PostgreSQL as the primary database.
4. Design and implement high-performance, secure, and maintainable APIs for internal systems and external integrations.
5. Take technical ownership of backend components for key client projects, including mortgage application systems, CRM platforms, and quotation tools for financial services clients.
6. Build and maintain data synchronisation pipelines between Shopify and custom-built applications, ensuring bidirectional data flow and system integrity.
7. Deploy and manage backend systems on AWS infrastructure, applying DevOps best practices for CI/CD, scalability, and security.
8. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in staging and production environments, performing root cause analysis and implementing long-term fixes.
9. Contribute to the architecture and design discussions of new platforms, ensuring alignment with business goals and long-term maintainability.
10. Ensure code quality through regular peer reviews, unit testing, and adherence to development standards.
11. Assist in onboarding junior developers or interns, offering guidance and code-level mentoring when required.
12. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and propose improvements to tools, workflows, and development methodologies to support team efficiency.

Key Requirements

1. A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. At least 1 year of hands-on software development experience.
3. Strong understanding of relational database design and usage, particularly with PostgreSQL.
4. Experience deploying and maintaining systems on AWS.
5. Familiarity with integrating frontend components and designing APIs.
6. Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate within a team-based development environment.
7. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
8. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a structured and timely manner.
9. Willingness to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to evolving requirements.
