Our client, Linear Lux Pty Ltd specialises in commercial-grade LED lighting solutions, providing innovative products and services for retail, commercial, residential, industrial, and marine applications. The business designs and supplies custom lighting solutions, LED profiles, LED strip lights, and advanced lighting controls.

Linear Lux Pty Ltd is seeking to fill a full-time position for a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer. This role is critical for the continued growth and success of our business.

The primary purpose of this position is to design, develop, and oversee electrical engineering projects, ensuring that custom LED lighting solutions meet client requirements and comply with Australian safety standards and industry regulations.

The ideal candidate is an inventive problem solver that can work through technical challenges and employing pragmatic solutions. This job is an immediate start. The successful candidate must work well independently and, in a team, be reliable and take responsibility and pride in their work.

Minimum Requirements:

· Bachelor of Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent with minimum one year relevant experience

· Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and LED lighting technologies.

· Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Altium Designer).

· Project management and organisational skills.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

· Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

· Knowledge of Australian electrical standards and compliance requirements.

What you will be responsible for:

·Planning and managing electrical engineering projects related to custom LED lighting products.

·Designing and testing electronic assemblies for custom LED products.

·Project managing engineering tasks, timelines, and deliverables.

·Ensuring compliance with Australian electrical standards, industry regulations, and safety requirements.

·Designing and developing innovative lighting products and systems tailored to client specifications.

·Coordinating closely with manufacturing and sales teams to ensure the successful rollout of products.

·Managing project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.

·Providing technical support and advice on electrical engineering matters.

·Driving continuous improvement in product quality, innovation, and efficiency.

·Ensuring compliance with Australian electrical standards and safety regulations.

·Problem-solving technical issues efficiently.

·Assisting in product development and innovation.

·Designing electrical circuits and components for custom LED lighting products.

·Testing and validating designs to ensure they meet regulatory and client specifications.

·Preparing detailed documentation of project specifications, design processes, and quality standards.

·Collaborating with manufacturing teams to oversee prototype development and product testing.

·Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues efficiently.

·Regularly reviewing processes and making recommendations for improvement.
