Job Description:

We are looking for a talented and passionate Software Developer to join our web development team. As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that provide an exceptional user experience. You will work closely with our design, product, and development team to deliver robust and scalable web solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

·Develop and maintain program code aligned with system designs, requirements, and technical specifications

·Modify and enhance software to fix bugs, adapt to hardware changes, and boost performance

·Design, maintain, and optimize database architecture, ensuring consistent naming conventions

·Create and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration across platforms

·Apply payment gateways such as Stripe, PayPal, eWay, Afterpay, and Zip Pay for client subscription and billing management

·Consult with project managers to understand business requirements and limitations

·Conduct feasibility analysis to calculate project profitability

·Perform extensive testing and QA on both frontend and backend systems to ensure responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility, and mobile performance

·Use Git for version control and collaborative code management

·Develop custom WordPress plugins to meet unique client requirements

·Improve UI/UX with front-end testing and enhancements

·Integrate APIs like Google Places API for real-time location services

·Document system specifications and create tutorial videos to support end-users

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Proven experience as a Software Developer with a focus on web development.
3. Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks/libraries like React and Angular.
4. Strong knowledge of back-end technologies such as Node.js and PHP.
5. Experience with database systems such as MySQL, and MongoDB.
6. Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
7. Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
9. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
10. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Salary: AUD 77,000 per year plus superannuation
