Geospatial Operations Coordinator

Join DEW as a Geospatial Operations Coordinator and lead a range of technical and strategic initiatives to manage critical spatial systems that underpin biodiversity, vegetation and land management across South Australia.

As Geospatial Operations Coordinator, you'll work closely with teams across the department to provide expert advice on the implementation and management of geospatial technologies and play a key role in shaping fit-for-purpose spatial solutions that enable better environmental decision-making.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

  1. Strong GIS technical skills using Esri's ArcGIS desktop, enterprise and online platforms
  2. In depth experience in the management of geospatial systems and processes
  3. Meticulous attention to detail
  4. A strong understanding of ICT change management and software life cycle management approaches
  5. The ability to collaborate effectively within the team and across a diverse range of business areas
