To support our expanding platform and internal IT environment, we are seeking a Systems Administrator who is experienced, proactive, and ready to maintain the systems that keep our products reliable and secure.

Location: Wantirna, VIC 3152

Position: Systems Administrator – Full-Time

Salary: $75,000 – $80,000 + Superannuation

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain and administer servers, storage, networks, and cloud-based environments
2. Perform regular system updates, patches, backups, and disaster recovery testing
3. Monitor system performance and availability, troubleshooting issues to minimise downtime
4. Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies across platforms
5. Oversee security protocols including firewalls, antivirus, and encryption tools
6. Collaborate with developers to support staging and production environments
7. Maintain documentation of system configurations, changes, and procedures
8. Provide technical support to internal staff and escalate complex issues as needed
9. Ensure systems meet compliance and security requirements (e.g., data privacy, ISO standards)
10. Assist in planning and implementing new technologies or infrastructure upgrades

What You’ll Bring

1. Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
2. Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a systems administrator or similar IT support role
3. Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
4. Experience with virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure or AWS)
5. Familiarity with network management and security best practices
6. Strong scripting or automation skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) is an advantage
7. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
8. Ability to manage multiple systems, timelines, and competing priorities
9. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
