The Opportunity: Internal Sales, Direct Impact

This isn't your typical sales role. As our Sales Assistant, you will be primarily responsible for fostering and growing client relationships from within our office. Your day will involve:

  1. Direct Client Engagement: Interacting with customers either face-to-face when they visit our premises, or via phone and email, to understand their specific needs.
  2. Consultative Sales: Providing expert advice on our range of earthmoving attachments, guiding clients to the best solutions for their projects.
  3. Product Knowledge: Becoming a go-to expert on our extensive product catalogue, articulating features, benefits, and applications.
  4. Quoting & Order Processing: Preparing detailed quotes, managing sales documentation, and accurately processing orders.
  5. Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and encouraging repeat business.

Important Note: This is NOT a field sales role. There is no travel required. Your expertise will be leveraged right here in our vibrant, supportive office environment. We are looking for someone who excels at high-value, consultative selling, rather than transactional retail interactions.

Who We're Looking For:

We are searching for a motivated individual with a genuine passion for sales and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess:

  1. Proven, Non-Retail Face-to-Face Sales Experience: You have a track record of successfully converting leads and building rapport in a business-to-business or high-value product sales environment (e.g., automotive, industrial equipment, or similar, but not traditional shop-front retail).
  2. Exceptional Communication Skills: You can articulate complex product information clearly and concisely, listen actively, and build trust quickly.
  3. Problem-Solving Acumen: The ability to understand client challenges and propose effective, tailored solutions.
  4. Organisational Skills: High attention to detail for managing quotes, orders, and customer information.
  5. Proactivity & Self-Motivation: A driven individual who takes initiative and thrives in an environment where they can manage their own sales pipeline.
  6. Industry Knowledge (Advantageous, Not Essential): Familiarity with earthmoving equipment, heavy machinery, or a related industry will be highly regarded but is not a prerequisite if you demonstrate strong sales fundamentals.
  7. Proficiency in Office Software: Comfortable with CRM systems and standard office applications.
