The Retail Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, driving sales, managing staff, and maintaining inventory levels. - Sales & Customer Service
- Drive sales performance and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Monitor customer service standards to ensure a high-quality shopping experience.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
- Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and manage store staff.
- Schedule shifts and delegate tasks to maximize efficiency.
- Motivate and develop team members through coaching and performance evaluations.
- Store Operations
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Oversee opening and closing procedures.
- Implement company policies and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Inventory Management
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers for replenishment.
- Conduct regular stock checks and manage inventory accuracy.
- Prevent loss and manage shrinkage through effective controls.
- Reporting & Administration
- Prepare sales reports and analyze financial performance.
- Manage budgets, expenses, and profitability.
- Utilize retail software systems for tracking sales, inventory, and staff performance.
